Burners and refractory
Atmospheric and fan-assisted models have different service needs. Burner openings, refractory, flame path, and combustion chamber condition require inspection.

Pool Heater Experts · Mazgan Inc.
Raypak maintenance should address burner cleanliness, exchanger condition, bypass and water flow, ignition, gas supply, venting, controls, and final operating temperature.

Technical guidance
Atmospheric and fan-assisted models have different service needs. Burner openings, refractory, flame path, and combustion chamber condition require inspection.
A stuck or damaged bypass, restricted filter, valve position, pump problem, or low flow may cause overheating and repeated limit trips.
Soot, debris, corrosion, scale, and water leakage change heat transfer and may point to broader installation or chemistry issues.
Ignition modules, spark systems, flame sensing, gas valves, wiring, grounds, and supply pressure should be diagnosed as one operating sequence.
AVIA systems may include blower, venting, condensate, control, and installation requirements beyond traditional atmospheric Raypak models.
